y2kate: Given the AWSJ record for inaccuracy and bad reporting, suggest don't lose sleep. How such incompetence passes in the press is a sad sad situation. Where oh where have all the old fashioned editors gone - "just the facts" was not just a Jack Webb old TV line. But it is gone with the wind.

There is a meeting in Washington on China tomorrow which might clarify.

Let's hope.

Again, suggest you (and others who might assume some professionalism in the AWSJ relax, it is not that pub's style or practice)
