Well, we put ours in quite a bit later,i.e. 2 weeks ago. Maybe garlic grows different in Kansas, I don't know. We planted it all around a rose shrub. Wife says that is really good for the roses. I don't know, maybe it was the roses. The roses or the garlic in the ground. All I know, it looks really good, and I hope we get good garlic. My favorite food!

Only thing planted in the fall around here is winter wheat. You probably ate some of it today! We are the breadbasket to the world.
