Here is your sign.... I do have to add that with all the edible fish that we have in this area, I was somewhat amazed to find myself fishing for gar. Sadly, my logic processes were rather alcohol befuddled so, I went along with the insane yankee. We have miles and miles of type of bass and panfish, not to mention catfish that can sing "Dixie". We have tailwaters that contain amazing trout. But...NOOOOOOO..... I have to deal with a smooth-talking yankee that makes gar fishing seem reasonable...... .....and I have to be gullible enough (not to mention drunk) that when he does land a big one and wonders how we will boat it. It was simply a matter of 'If you want it, I'll fetch it.....for a friend. I fetched it. I don't care if the next one is a 'universal record', he will fetch the next one himself. Those SOBs have sharp teeth and not all of them are inside their mouth. Damn yankee, lee
