Hi Bill,

Recent events have me thinking that chipsets may be more difficult than CPUs. So many external factors can sink the system.

I think that AMD's 750 chipset has been greatly under rated by many. Some of the credit for that chipset undoubtedly goes to Compaq/Digital for the bus design but I think the fact remains that one the main reasons AMD is doing so well right now is that they have a rock solid chipset.

I am so so glad I have been specing systems with this chipset instead of the 820! Kudos to the chipset team at AMD!

PS - Never fired for buying Intel, eh? How'd you like to be the guy at Asus who pushed ramping up fast on 820 production?
