JC - interesting reading but supports what I have said - MS is not the one who refunds, it is the OEM. Presumably the OEM would then be entitled to a refund from MS but that would depend on their licensing terms - they would presumably include that as a deduction from their ship totals.

does kind of document the fact that the OEMs don't have any process for doing this. I bet there are not a hundred cases a year of people actually going top the trouble.
