I just have the sampler, after getting burned rushing
into Sangamo on IPO day, I'll be a lot more patient
to start buying much of this sort of thing again.
But I do expect to add shares slowly over the next
few years as their business unfolds before us--if
it looks like the plan is working.

Sector Ramblins...
I suspect we are going to see another surge in biotech
shares this year, another brief flood of IPOs and then
a few years of quiet. Obviously you would like to do
most of shopping after a long slump in the sector--sure
wish I'd had more cash to work with six months ago!

On the other hand, we may see biotech become the next
darling--I suppose there is a chance for a sustained
bull market in biotech, consumers of investment magazines,
have got to be bored out of their minds with Inet stories.
I think you will see a lot more written about biotech,
more biotech funds, and better support for the sector
by Wall Street. March/April was a good reminder that
it isn't a one way street to wealth playing the sector,
shook out the margin players, limited the amount of
product coming to market. Was probably a good thing.
Question now is when the next move up begins for biotech.
Maybe with another interest rate raise behind us biotchs
can lead the Nasdaq back to 5k...or maybe just 4000,
another month and everybody will be headed to the beach
right, yeah 4k would be fine (we could even do that just
this next week).
