I respect people from all parts of the country, as we are all God's children and creation. Maybe this is the "high road"--won't you join me on it? He said, but the crowds didn't hear because he was already over the crest of the hill. The coyotes bayed.

See, chalu, when I make a mistake, I fess up to it. Unlike you, I state things as clearly as I can, because WORDS MEAN THINGS. I don't know you personally, only as a product of your posts. Maybe if we met and shook hands, we could agree on some things. But all I have to judge you on is by what you say in your posts, which are clearly Klintonian and full of misleading and obfuscating rhetoric. That angers me. It is meant to deceive people, especially those you consider "beneath" you, particularly in education. It is just that assumption of New England superiority that caused several American wars and an everlasting rift between agrarian and industrial parts of the country. And, yes, it really does anger me.

When you start talking to me (and us) as if we really are as smart as you, and try to understand that truth is an absolute (not something to be manipulated), we'll start treating you as one of us, not some jerk that just wants to start an argument.

Sadly, I think that is beyond your capabilities. You are so entrenched in your "I'm from New York, and thus superior" attitude that any coming together is out of the question.

I wish we could take advantage of your knowledge and education here to better ourselves. But, because of the way you choose to present yourself, we are forced to reject you as a libertarian. Well, I am, anyway.

We may vote for the same presidential candidate, but we do so for wholly different reasons.
