Castnet Caught in Copyright Net

============================================================
LOS ANGELES, May 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chief Judge of the United States
Federal Court in Los Angeles (Western District), Hon. Terry J. Hatter, Jr.,
found Castnet to be in contempt of a federal court injunctive order in favor
of Breakdown Services, Ltd. which included his finding that Castnet had
intentionally infringed Breakdown's copyrights and ownership of its script
analyses or "Breakdown(s)" on nine separate occasions. Judge Hatter ordered
Castnet to pay Breakdown Services $225,000.00 for its illegal conduct and
awarded Breakdown Services its attorneys' fees and court costs. Castnet is a
division of Entertainment Internet Inc. (OTC:EINI)
Breakdown and Castnet had previously settled a federal lawsuit brought by
Breakdown because Castnet was making verbatim copies of "Breakdowns" and
passing them off to its clients as their own work. The settlement of that
federal copyright infringement lawsuit included the issuance of a federal
Injunction ordering Castnet to refrain from such conduct and restraining it
from infringing Breakdown's copyrights in its "Breakdowns" in the future.
Gary Marsh, President of Breakdown Services, speaking from the steps of
the federal courthouse after the contempt hearing last Monday, stated that he
felt "vindicated." "Breakdowns are the backbone of our business. Castnet
simply didn't want to do its own work so, when they felt it necessary, they
copied our Breakdowns. The Chief Judge of our federal court found that
Castnet repeatedly, on nine separate occasions, committed flagrant and
verbatim plagiarism of our Breakdowns and took strong steps to prevent Castnet
from doing so again. Today's hearing is an affirmation of our right to own
our own work and to enforce those federal rights against infringers and
imitators like Castnet."
