"Bilow Announces New Multi-Motherboard Processors To Soak Up Excess DDR Motherboards"
(May 16, 2000 - SI News)
In a stunning development, Bilow announced today a new initiative to link multiple motherboards to one CPU in a new line of Bilow-branded desktops.
According to Bilow, chipmakers will soon be flooding the channel with millions of DDR motherboards. Acknowledging that Intel's next line of CPU's (Timna and Willamette) will not be running on DDR and that AMD cannot produce any meaningful quantity of CPU's, Bilow revealed a revolutionary new program to link more than one motherboard to each CPU.
According to Bilow, "Well, for years Intel has been using multiple processors in computers, so we thought why not use multiple motherboards with one processor."
"Yes, I know it will cost a lot more, but it will also soak up those extra DDR motherboards while AMD ramps up their Thunderbird CPU to approximately 100 million annually in the year 2025," he added. "Moreover, in my view, it's worth it to corporations and consumers to pay the extra costs just to avoid RDRAM becoming more prevalent. I don't really like RDRAM, OK?"
Bilow expects shipments of the double DDR motherboards, to be code-named, "Double Mother," to start shipping in volume in Q3. |
