The famous broker house Dresdner Kleinwort Benson came with an extremely bullish analysis of FAST. There conclusion was that FAST would be worth around 50 billion NOK (around 5.5 billion USD) when it will be quoted on NASDAQ. (Today the market cap is around 20 billion NOK or 2.2 billion USD at quote 500 NOK) - 11 may.

Technology Director of FAST, John Lervik said in an interview that 50 billion NOK is a conservative value of FAST. Competitors like Akamai, Sycamore and Inktomi are higher priced. "Our P/S number will grow faster than for example Inktomi". He also said that "Akamai is operating on a smaller market" - 16 may.

Opticom owns (as you probably know...) around 43% of FAST.

Another thing that haven't really been noticed on this boards is that Eidos, not very surprising, sold over a million shares in Opticom. Probably because theirs very week financials. What was more surprising was that the executive directors, Thomas Fussels and Robert Keith bought the stocks. (they were already before this pretty heavy invested in Opticom...). I don't want to speculate about why, but hey it doesn't sound to negative to me... - march 24

I also believe that booth Thomas and Keith as well as Gudesen have made the agreement not to sell any stocks in about three years from now. (not sure about his though) As Gudesens say, Why the heck should I sell now, when I can get much more for my shares in the future...

Some people are expecting information from Opticom late may or beginning of june, because of a statement made by Hans Gude Gudesen (largest shareholder, research director and founder of Opticom) in one Norwegian paper in march. he said something that,

"you never get a story since you are writing in the wrong time. I am only interested when we are ready with the work, and I don't want the work to suffer from worthless interwievs. Intel have also been very clear that we are not allowed to tell the press anything"

And another interview the journalist tried to get an answer if they will succed.
"Will Gudesen and his swedish researchers be able to make a small memory card that can contain thousands of movies, billions of photos and an incredible amount of text?
- Wait three months with publishing that article, was the only thing Gudesen had to say."

But I don't think we should expect to much just because that statement. However the annual report should be out late may or early june and the general meeting should be in early may as well. Hope we get something nice from the meeting.
