SingTel Aeradio Purchases Concurrent

Video Server

Prominent Singapore Systems Integrator Chooses Concurrent After
Evaluation of Competing Intranet Solutions

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 16, 2000-- Concurrent Computer Corporation
(NASDAQ:CCUR - news) announced today that SingTel Aeradio Pte Ltd. (Singapore) recently
purchased a Concurrent MediaHawk(TM) Video Server to be used as a development and
demonstration system for integrating video into Internet Protocol (IP) networks. SingTel Aeradio, a
prominent Singapore information and communications systems integrator, is a Concurrent Value
Added Reseller (VAR).

SingTel Aeradio, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Telecom, was seeking a high-performance
video distribution network system for its corporate clients, which include many US Fortune 500
companies. SingTel Aeradio selected Concurrent's MediaHawk after performing its own technical
evaluation in which the MediaHawk competed against solutions from three other companies. Singtel
Aeradio determined that the MediaHawk was technically superior to the other solutions. The
MediaHawk Video Server purchased by SingTel Aeradio will be used in-house as the company
develops and demonstrates its expertise in integrating video into IP networks. The system will also
be used to demonstrate intranet applications for SingTel Aeradio's many corporate customers.

Andrew Phillips, Concurrent Vice President-Asia Pacific, commented, ``This particular sale is
significant because we beat out stiff competition from First Virtual Corporation, Cisco, and SGI to
win this large, experienced systems integrator as a new customer. The MediaHawk was evaluated
and proved to be technically superior.''
