I have not been active on the threads as much lately, as there are a number of diversions which I have in the works that have kept me busy. I will also not able to post much over the next week and a half as I will be on the road for much of that time.

I just read a new addition to the Investors Interactive room on the Net Shepherd Website. It deals with a question related to the status of revenue contracts with their Application Companies. For more comments on some key questions, I suggest using the back tab when you get to the site and you will see three other questions and their answers as well.

Why have we not seen many revenue announcements from Net Shepherd this year?

Revenue Announcements

Our subsidiary Application Companies - such as Answers.com - have only recruited most of their sales and marketing staff relatively recently. As they have gone out into the marketplace, they have discovered that some of their potential customers are much larger than had been originally expected.

They have therefore concentrated most of their efforts on negotiations with these very large potential customers. The process usually takes longer than dealing with smaller customers and can be frustrating for some shareholders because it produces less frequent news, but the potential for commercial results is far greater.
