NEW YORK (AFP) - Telefonica de Espana SA has reached an accord to acquire Lycos Inc at the end of trading on the New York stock exchange today, Telefonica sources told Agence France-Presse. "The official announcement will be made at 2000 GMT though a press release, and will then be followed by a press conference," Telefonica sources in Madrid said.
