OT Since I am giving the camera to my son I planning to give him a choice from the following list: Nikon Coolpix 950 ($689) Epson PhotoPC 850Z ($620) Canon S20 ($669) I think they are all excellent choices, both from what I have read, and from seeing Ausdauers photos on the web (850z). It probably comes down to which he likes the look and feel of rather than the photo quality, good luck Joe
