Agree 100% tekboy. Management has to walk a fine line. Too 'pro' employee and you can lose the company (not very good for the employees either.. <g>). Too 'pro' company and 'to heck with the employees' and you can't hire the best out there anymore, you lose company moral - it becomes more a 'job' and less a 'mission', and your employees have little loyalty when the bad times come. A fine line to walk. In the end though customers are #1, employees #2, profits/margins/stock price/management bonuses will follow.
