I know, I know, but the great thing about greek food is, once you get past the names (and some of the ingredients), the food really does taste great. Hummus, a dip made with garbonzo beans and tahini (sesame seed paste) is great with pita wedges, and every time I've served it to the uninitiated, they've scarfed it down and then bragged about their newfound gustatory edumacation.

And I'm for real.
