Sorry for the late response ... but then that makes "predicting the past" like most analysts love to do very easy: "Yes, I see a Tuesday rally"! ; ^)

I bought semis and communications stocks on Friday and Monday and sold most of them this morning. I bought back some this afternoon. The follow-through rally toward the close tends to confirm the upward trend. I think this will be a short term rally and can't figure out just how strong it will be. On the one hand, volume has been drifting lower and interest rates are going to zap some liquidity out of the market. I don't think interest rates are such a big fear short term to prevent a rally from occurring. But over time it will slow things down a bit.

The safest way to play the rally is to trade rather than hold. Some stocks might move back up to resistance levels and then bounce back downward.
