The termination of Canadian software maker Corel's (CORL:Nasdaq - news - boards) merger with Inprise/Borland (INPR:Nasdaq - news - boards) Tuesday makes the heady days of Nasdaq 5000 seem as distant and quaint as WordPerfect on MS/DOS.
