I agree. I would have liked to see a strong Linux contender to Red Hat and adding development tools sure seemed it would have been a good avenue.

Nonetheless, it appears some INPR holders became convinced it was a cash grab - one thing INPR does have.

Its pretty short-sighted to think Corel will run out of money without the Inprise merger. As the most noticable software company in Canada, Corel is practically a national icon. Getting some money to get through the current crunch will not be a problem.

Corel has a powerful line-up of products, loyal customers, a Linux distribution (yes, based on Debian) with a great graphical interface, installation program and full office suite.

It was interesting to see INPR got less of a bump then Corel today.
