Nothing specific that I'm aware of, just rumors spawned mainly by this article in Red Herring:

I'm not sure COMS matters that much here, as long as the Q4 earnings aren't a much bigger loss than anyone predicts. I still believe the dynamics of the next 4-8 weeks will be driven by PALM's valuation, which in turn will be driven by the rate at which the short sellers exit as the arb gap narrows - market conditions permitting of course.

We may have seen the beginning of this today. At the close, COMS sans PALM was valued at about $5, only $15 to $20 to go.
