Business Objects is a rapidly growing business intelligence company, with emphasis, naturally, on the internet. Here's a quote from their 1999 annual report. "We signed a significant agreement with Softbank Commerce to jointly promote e-business intelligence solutions in the Japanese market." I take it this means that the Softbank subsidiary will translate the user interfaces and sell and install the software as well as educate the customers in its use. Sounds good.
