I think JC does us a favor in serving as bad example of investor advise. Corel tanked far under Inprise while Inprise rebounded over 25% in the past couple of days. After the foreshadowed announcement there is motion in both stocks, and he's calling that evidence of an albatross view of Inprise? Excuse me, but if that's true then Corel must be a 10,000 pound lead anchor given the 25% pop Inprise following the clarity with which investors rejected this merger. It was not a lack of articulation on Corel's part that doomed this, as JC so naively states. He still doesn't get it.

Once Inprise investors got wind of how bad the deal was, it was only a matter of time.
