Top Ten Reasons to Sell Corel Stock Read this MC quote 10 times then look at his track record, recent or otherwise: "'We're in perfect shape,' Cowpland said at a press conference. 'I can't think of any other company that has anything like as much Linux technology as we have.'" IMO, this is the biggest red flag of all. The number one reason to worry and worry BIG are these statements. Everything being perfect: read: all of the analysts and industry professionals are just stupid. As for the Linux "technology" claim: I can think of no factual basis for the claim regarding Linux technology. That statement is antithetical at best. Is issuing fact-free hype leadership or something else? I think it's something else. This clear evidence that not a thing has changed.
