hi bob, one of the many problems facing the big insur co's is zero credibility. another, pointed out in the next post is the doj. continuing on this theme: can they and will they trust each other; are they motivated to make the system for efficient since for many their underwriting losses have only been "covered up" by their investment income, somewhat based on an "inefficient system"; and perhaps their greatest challenge, virtually all of my md contacts, a fairly sizeable group, would rather slit their wrists than enter into any new relationships, transactions processing or even sit down to a cup of coffee with the insurers. though i am very long hlth, i realize hlth has a number of major challenges and hurdles ahead. but (imo) none of these will be will be (seriously) posed by the insur cos and medunite in particular. take care. coach
