Been out of town, thus my delay in responding to your quick reply.

Yes, we probably did discuss my Netscape Smart Download problem many, many moons ago (1 yr?). If memory serves me correctly, I recall emailing Netscape, but fear they either did not respond or did not resolve my problem. And I did not pursue further.

Have searched the links you provided, but my problem is not addressed there.

Think I'll e-mail them again.

Wonder if upgrading would resolve the problem. I'm in IE now, but think I have Netscape 4.1 or 4.01

Are you aware of any problems with current Netscape editions?

BTW, toggling between browsers is not a problem is it? I occasionally do this if one is down. And yes, on occasion I do experience an illegal op & one of the two shuts down.
