CDMA....

The CDMA web page, posted by the CDG, has been updated to reflect the last qtr's most recent data.

cdg.org

Overall, it looks to me like growth in CDMA is slowing in Asia and in N. America. About 7 million new subscribers worldwide in the last qtr. (up 14% sequentially), now at 57.3 million worldwide total (up 101% y-o-y).

I suppose the total number is important, in part, because it represents the total number of potential re-purchasers of CDMA based equipment. That is important as equipment options......ie handsets, PDAs, notebook and PC modems, etc. increases; and since I have previously read that about 40% of handset owners upgrade each year. So that 40% of an increasing yearly total is impressive.
