Kenneth - By the looks of the volume either Barnes is attracting some institutional buying or the stock repurchase program is beginning to kick in. I bought another 500 shares in my trading a/c looking to grab a quick 2-3 dollars a share. My core holding remains intact and will be held for the balance of 1997. If you are a trader I would not be against selling some into the current strength to lock in some capital gains, however bear in mind that the company will be repurchasing up to 1,500,000 shares during the year. Also keep in mind that the dividend will be increased from $0.15 to $0.167 a share in the current quarter (or so I've been told). Regards and good luck, Gary
