Some notes to conference call:

Batteries to Qualcomm thru Moltech are well received. There was two companies providing batteries and one dropped out. VLNC is in talks with the parent of the other company.

Shipping preliminary batteries to two companies (one is a French mobile phone company thru Korea). Volume shipments to begin soon.

UL apporoval on Gen 1 battery with no internal/external safety devices. Gen 2 batteries are being submitted for approval.

One of the issues for large orders is that there is no second source for batteries. VLNC may license technology to competitors and has excess flim making capacity that they could supply. Their batteries are being supplied to competitors thru the repackagers.

Cash - May have enough to hold them over to full profitibility. It depends on banking relationship and sales.

No announcement of backlogs until June quarter. Some of the backlog includes PO that have not been announced yet. They should be able to meet Revenue expectations for the next quarter based on current backlog.

The above is a brief summary of some points during the conference call. It is still in progress and I missed some of it due to net congestion. I take no responsibilities for accuracy or spelling.

Sounds like good new to me so far.
