Eric - Like we see with computer viruses, open forums can be crapped up by a single negative presence. IMHO, KIS has a very long history of fouling up threads on SI with nonsense seemingly intended only to get a rise out of people.
I have had him on ignore for 6 months. But, that's not always enuff. Some people put a lot of time and serious thought into what is written here, and some share unique information and points of view, while others do amazing research that is so wonderful. They do this for free, and if their efforts are not respected, or are mocked, there is no reason for them to continue to share. These contributions are the most valuable resource on the web for investing, I think. Six months ago, on the QCOM thread we lost an incredibly valuable poster, who was pointlessly harassed by a non-sense poster. I hate seeing that happen.
Somehow, there should be a way for serious investors to communicate in an open fashion without someone pooping on their effort.
I am not a member of the committee controlling this thread, but I support their effort.
