Confession...and a B-Job? 5-15-2000

A local priest, who was a die hard basketball fan, had received to playoff tickets to the Knicks Game for Saturday. His dilemma was that he had confessional duty that afternoon and would have to decide as to which activity to go to. The priest finally convinced a good buddy of his growing up to sit in on the confessionals even though he was not a man of the cloth. The priest who was so eager to go to the game, gave his good buddy little instruction and a book that had every sin known to man and its penance for that wrong doing.

That Saturday the guy was in the confession as nervous as could be praying no one would find out. A woman entered the confessional across from him and replied "Forgive me father, it has been 1 month since my last confession". The guy trying to recall what the priests would say and replied back..."Go on my child, tell me your sins so they may be forgiven and you can go in peace."

"Father...I have said mean things to my husband and I have stolen some food from the grocery store because I was hungry and without money"...the lady poured out almost in tears. The guy feverishly flipped through the pages for stealing, and for verbal wrong doings...and said "If you are truly sorry my child you are forgiven. Your penance is 2 Hail Mary's and 3 Our Fathers.

The young guy acting as the priest was starting to get a hang of it and saw and heard things he could not believe--some serious and some funny. He was gaining confidence and throwing penance's out left and right until...a young woman stated that she gave a "BJOB" to a strange man in public even though she was not married to this person. He was starting to get nervous as the the word BJOB, HUMMER, ORAL SEX...nothing was in this darn book for a BJOB! The guy had no choice but to sneak out of the booth and ask someone for help. He quickly found a couple of alter boys preparing for that nights service..."What does the priest normally give out for BJ?"
