Every time a trial news hits the stock falls back to 65 - 66 level. The real business issues MSFT has are its competitors Wes server Apache (60%) MSFT (20%) Database Oracle& IBM (32%) MSFT (13%) ISP AOL - 22Million MSFT - 2.5 Million There are several like this where MSFT has stiff competition Then there is Larry & Scott who keep preannouncing death of the PC. That does some harm to perception.
