Frank- I agree with your GE statement. I asked Ken a few months back about what he knew about GE in the MAN(I'm assuming WAN means MAN in this case). At that time, he or I could find little, to nothing about it. Suddenly, within the last month, it's become HOT as you say. Maybe you can answer a question for me. What the heck happens to legacy ATM-SONET MAN/WAN networks if a carrier starts to rollout GE in the WAN/MAN? I recently read some PR about both of them being compatible on the latest incarnation of metro-DWDM/ metro-switching platforms. Can you tell me if this is possible? I can't seem to separate the PR from reality. Thanks. -MikeM(From Florida) PS Ken- You may recall I asked you the GE question in regards to the DD I was doing on MRVC. A GE expert to the point it hurt them in the past.
