Rick made a comment last night that got my nick hairs to rise. He said," I do hope that those investors among us who were so quick to cast aspersions ("liar" "idiot" etc.) on Custer, Katz & company's character will be man enough to issue an apology to them on this thread once you've finished gobbling up the profits they and their associates created for you." I must have been left out of the mailing list in the shareholders letter from Custer and company. I for one did not receive a letter of apology for telling us all that a product would absolutely be out be out for Christmas, No If Ands Or Buts. Week after week we were told that only a week more delay, before the production, it would be on the shelves for Christmas. October 1, oh yes it would be out for Christmas. October 15, oh yes it would be out for Christmas. October 29, oh yes it would be out for Christmas. Commercials on TV touted the UniView....Coming Soon. It was not until Art Yep (he is the one that I should apologize to), found out thru a convention, that the providers of the parts needed for the UniView were never shipped to Curtis Mathes. In fact the parts had not even been ordered. That was Oct 28. On the 29th of October Katz says to one of the people on this thread, "I can assure you, we are working on a product and we will deliver it." I also personally called Curtis Mathes that day, and was assured that the UniView would be out for Christmas. Guess What!!! The very next day on Oct 30 they issued a press release that the UniView would NOT be out for Christmas. Six month delay. Some of the people on this thread thought that Custer and gang, deliberately lied to us to keep the stock high to obtain the $10,000,000 loan. That sparked talk about criminal activities used by Custer and gang.
A man's word is their Honor, the reputation that one achieves thru their own actions. This has been a very frustrated time for all of the long termers. I had faith in the UniView. I kept my shares after the delay announcement. I lost money. After seeing the price fall below 1.00 I did not keep track of it on a day to day bases because of the pain. I placed at stop loss on my 16,000 shares at .62 cents. My average cost per share was around 1.85. Guess what happen? I was horrified to get a automated voice call from my broker saying that I had just sold.
Again, where was my letter of apology from Custer and gang. |
