Carl, I looked at the links you posted. Certainly Samsung and Mitsubishi have announced sample availability of devices that can be switched between sdr and ddr. However, I saw no statement that such devices are actually in full production, only an intention to go into production with them. Therefore, I suspect that the current production of SDRAMs is not of such a type and a DDR ramp-up might take longer than you suggest. John
