Well, I do not think that there is anything wrong with ensuring that those with no special background will pay attention, understand, and recall a presentation. If there is nothing wrong with using a mnemonic device like ROY G BIV, there is nothing wrong with fancy multi- media devices to help people learn.......You should see some of the stuff they have at the Smithsonian, especially Air and Space and American History. It will make things clear to a 12 year old, help him to remember, and entertain him all at once, so that he goes back for more.......
