Dennis, everybody knew about the reputation of Corel's CEO and certainly anybody would soon know five minutes into an inquiry. Show me one public statement where Cowpland came through and I will show you the Gates enjoying tea with the Ellisons as they discuss their respective company's next moves. Cowpland's capacity for fiction is legendary. When he claimed the deal was on, did you believe him? Now he's out there telling everybody things are "perfect", in essence, that they couldn't be better. That's the kind of fiction that, in my opinion, has made him comical buffoon in the eyes of many analysts. dailynews.yahoo.com
