Ah, yes, that ol' social and moral decline. Makes you nostalgic for the good old days, doesn't it? The good old days when darkies sat at the back of the bus, and you could tar and feather 'em if they got uppity. The good old days when women knew their place, and faggots were fair game. The good old days when the CIA could give the boot to any small-country rulers with the temerity to place the interests of their citizens above those of our corporations, without a peep from our citizenry. The good old days when our people would march their sons off to war without stopping to ask if the war was logical or just, and we could rely on the police to do their jobs and bash the heads of any who dissented. The good old days when our young people, barely out of school, were inventing and marketing technologies that revolutionized.... whoops, scratch that last, that's now.

I suppose the trend is irreversible. I certainly hope so.
