I went back and listened to the conference call on March 23,2000
vcall.com ...

Now this conference call was 8 days before the end of Q1 and they had pretty good idea of what they have done in Q1.

At about 7 minutes into the call, Hank Kaplan talks about Q1: "We have 12 new tiles for 2000 which will join 11 titles which are selling strongly in our stores".
No one made any mention that there was even remotely a problem. In fact the whole conference was generally upbeat.

Now they say in today's release:"The decrease was attributable to the Company releasing one title in the first quarter of 2000 versus the release of five titles in the first quarter of 1999."

But wait just a minute, what about the 11 titles that were selling strongly? Did they just suddenly disappear?
I relied on those representations,in the conference call, to determine whether to stay in this stock. They simply lied to the shareholders.

And now they have a shareholder meeting in Toronto without letting the shareholders know about it. I never received any information and I am very careful about reading all mail regarding the companies I'm invested in.

This goes way beyond negligence
