Glenn: New economy is not my term. It seems to be used by others to imply there are new companies with unlimited growth potential worth amazing multiples, while old economy companies are uninteresting slow growth propositions unworthy of much investor interest. The "new economy" framework is bogus IMO -- and stands for the "investment bubble" economy. Is CSCO new economy? Take a look at the pe and some of the funny accounting used to report "performance" and I would say yes -- CSCO is "new economy".
