I think it's mostly a reflection of a wet-blanket bear market. Who wants to talk about stocks if all they have to look forward to is some more Fed hikes and a trading range? I also notice I'm watching less CNBC, doing less trading, not calling brokers, throwing more expensive newsletters in the trash unopened, letting my Morningstar monthly refills pile up without filing them in the binder, and not fantasizing about Maria Bartiromo. It's all the same thing. --QS
