More thoughts on the deal with Parent's Choice...
According to information from Drug Topics late last year, Parent's
Choice was selling the drug testing kit for about $40 and was not making much of a profit on it. As of last Fall, the comany had sold about 1000 kits through mail order and local pharmacys. They had no distributor. So, will CMTR be able to sell it for less if they use their own labs? Does anyone know if they are planing to use their own labs? Anyway, I refered to a company named Psychemedics in my last post. They are striking deals with major drug store chains left and right to offer their drug-testing technology to the consumer. Their's tests on a single strand of hair and will sell for around $59. So, if Chemtrak can get the cost of the pee test down to around $30, then maybe they will have some volume of sales. Time will tell. Comments?
