Looks like we have a couple of comedians here between you and Wiz. Lemme guess, you both were part of Michael Lewis' training class back at Solly in the 80's, no?

Keep mocking my friends at the 7th tier brokers and I will have you peddling equities in Dallas in no time.

BTW, last I knew you had Nutmeg on your speed-dial.

I asked my traders if we have done any business with HC Wainwright lately and they said "never". I clarified it and then asked how much biz we have done YTD and they said "none-we have never traded with them". That is quite a streak given that the business cards I collected today state that the firm was founded in 1869.

I guess that means 131 years of mediocrity. Truth be told, I heard the firm was practically considered bulge bracket around the time Custer made his stand but they have struggled to regain their form since shortly after the Teapot Dome scandal hit.

I had 45 minutes of quality time with the CFO's of two large holdings so the conference was worth it. I also had lunch with some people from Tucker, Anthony, Cleary Gull and when I got back to the office I had a voicemail message from a guy at Dirks and Co. Just in case you wanted to mock a few more people. How the hell did Dirks get my number?
