Discussions with the press indicate INTC is due post-close today to announce its response to errata #62 on the Pentium-2 (P2), and INTC has confirmed that. We think the key news is that it will be a web posting rather than a corporate press release. We expect INTC will handle this errata in exactly the same way as it handled the other 61 errata (the only difference with this one is it was discovered externally): A full description plus, when available, a variety of software patches issued in conjunction with software manufacturers.
