But I'm thinking that if it was foreign money pushing the silly stocks higher, then great. They crash and burn and their dollars do not have to be paid back. For instance, the debate that got KIS thrown out of the new economy started about Prince Al-Waleed spending a billion or two on US stocks.

I assume that was from oil revenue that was part of the current account deficit. If the stocks owned by the prince become worthless, then his billion evaporates and does not have to be financed.
