How well I know that they tried and failed and almost went belly up but that was because msft came out with their spreadsheet,a database and a wp at lower prices.
This is a different day and Linux appears to be ready to eat msft's lunch in the next two or three years; more than enough time to fix the suite.
I make these comments because these products worked great under borl and have deteriorated since their sale. This wish would only make sense if borl could pickup the suite for a song. This can happen if corl needs the money bad enough. Borl has alway had a great following among its users and I think it would not be at all difficult for them to get back on the desktop and have instant recognition.
As others who have read some of my posts in the distant past know is that I am neither a developer nor programmer but only an interactive user who just happens to be in love with pdox and the rest of the suite.
GO Borland, shed the inpr name and stay with what you do best writing great stable software.
