C&D, the suite isn't broken; it's just too old and costly to maintain. It's far cheaper to start from scratch using modern software technology. What you like about these old products is that you know how to use them. Microsoft users feel the same way about their products and they know their products, just like you know yours. This notion that Corel ended up with an office suite, acquired from a bunch of different companies, that was superior to Microsoft's is just more Corel fiction. It's pointless to even argue about it.
