Varian bathroom videotaping update!
All this occurred when Richard 'Dick' Levy was in charge!
Scary, huh?

Kathy L. Hibbs, a Varian corporate attorney pre-approved the videotaping of a
> men's company bathroom, a restroom that included a shower used by men and
> women. According to deposition testimony, in May of 1998 a video camera was
> secretly hidden in the Varian manager, Susan B. Felch's office with her full
> cooperation. While purposely hidden behind a pile of books in Mrs. Felch's
> office, the camera recorded the use of this bathroom for five weeks. Taping
> with a special and proprietary video camera occurred 24 hours a day, 7 days a
> week. The video tapes were watched by Craig Moro of Varian security every day
> after recording. Kathy Hibbs watched a portion of the tapes as well. I have
> seen still photos that Varian axcknowledges taking from these videos which
> among other things showing an employee inside the men's bathroom
> of Varian. The Varian facility in which this occurred is the famed Edward L.
> Ginzton Research Center in Palo Alto, California.
