This is from about a week ago:

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Shares of Starbase Corp. (SBAS) rose more than 12%
Tuesday on anticipation that fiscal fourth-quarter results will come in as
expected, said Kaufman Brothers LP senior research analyst Peter Jacobson.
"We are very comfortable (that Starbase) will achieve estimates" when it
reports on Thursday, Jacobson said. He said he expects the company to report
a
loss of 1 cent a share, excluding amortization, on revenue of $5.4 million
for
the three months ended March 31. For the year-earlier period, the company
lost
10 cents a share on revenue of $2.2 million.
Kaufman Brothers initiated coverage of the software company in December
with a
strong buy rating.
A trader who works with the stock also thinks the company's shares were up
on
earnings expectations. He said he hasn't heard any definitive news but
guesses
that fourth-quarter losses will be "less than prior."
Starbase officials weren't immediately available for comment.
Following a 13.8% gain Monday, the stock was recently up 21/32, or 12.1%,
at 6
1/16. Volume reached 621,500 shares, compared with a daily average of
811,400.
