Microsoft may be getting more "unbiased" opinion from sources it has
bought and paid for than we realize. A quote from the above reference:

"Microsoft also is a "significant member" of the Association
for Competitive Technology and Americans for Technology
Leadership. Jonathan Zuck, who runs the groups, said he
is under no obligation to identify his contributors, though a
spokeswoman acknowledged that Microsoft has given at
least $100,000 in dues."

Personally, I take all press releases from think tanks about
the Microsoft/DOJ issue with a grain of salt
