The biggest hurdle that Bush (and other reformers) have is to educate people to understand that it IS THEIR MONEY.

Yes, that is true. Govt. has so long told people that "they" will take care of them, that they have a blind trust in them, and have forgotten that it IS their money. But folks tend to not look very deep sometimes.

Small example. I hear folks around here talking about car payments all the time. They speak of what they can afford "monthly". They don't give a thought to the price of the car, the length of the term, the interest charged....just the bottom line payment..

That is what Bush will have to sell. I think that is the reason that algore uses "risky" 500 times a day. Folks hear risky so much they tend to shy.
